What other cool games are there for the PS2 that are similar to Animal Crossing?

I love Animal Crossing but am struggling to find other PS2 games that I can adapt to very well.

I am 30, I skipped from Super Nintendo and Genesis to computers and completely skipped the other game systems, now need to adapt my skills.

Assistance please?

There is a Harvest Moon game for ps2 however I Like the gamecube and gameboy ones better

I know that the most recent models do not support ps2 games….I have read that sony said the ps3 simply does not have the power to emulate the ps2 cpu and the ps3’s gpu and still give the user a great gaming experience. Does this mean that my 60gig will be inferior to the current 80gig in terms of gameplay experience?

ye the 60gb is the best one so far..and its very hard to make all the ps2 games work on ps3..it takes time

I’m not trying to link the memory card i’m just trying to save ps2 games to ps3 system.

There is a section under "Game" for "PS2 Memory Card" it saves your PS2 games in that area on the Internal Hard Drive.

What PS2 games are enjoyable for countless hours, fun for months on end? I’m looking for games that people have actually had this experience with. All genres are good.

OK.
I am a huge PS2 fan and I will be listing a couple of games that I really recommend and that kept me busy because I was ALMOST addicted.

Ratchet & Clank 3: Up your arsenal
Need for speed: Underground/2

Kingdom Hearts/II – Best PS2 game ever IMO

There are heaps more but these are the ones that are really good.
